Workplace wellbeing
Yoga can address the physical, mental, and emotional depletion often experienced by those who work with vulnerable populations
such as care staff, nurses, doctors, allied health professionals, teachers, lawyers, emergency service personnel.
Through mindful movement and conscious breathing, participants can effectively regulate their nervous system, promoting vagal tone and reducing the allostatic load caused by chronic stress.
A typical workplace wellbeing session with Sòlas Yoga offers a calm, accessible space for staff to pause, reset, and reconnect during the workday. Sessions are tailored to each workplace or employee group, but would typically include:
Grounding: a practice to help participants cultivate presence and "arrive" in the space;
Gentle mindful movement to release tension from sitting and screen-based work and to aid in nervous system regulation;
Breathing and meditation practices to promote focus, clarity, and wellbeing.
Practices are designed to be inclusive, practical, and adaptable for a wide range of bodies, abilities, and workplace settings.
